Hundreds of women inundated the center of Chios town, participating in the 7th Women's Race. The race, which has become a tradition on the island of Chios, is organized every year by the Chios Health Athletes Association - Chiosrunning, in honor of International Women's Day (March 8).It is a symbolic 5 km race that is non-competitive, taking place along a beautiful route that passes through the narrow streets of the town, the harbor, and the picturesque alleys of the Chios castle, ending at the island's central square.

This year, under the motto "You can! Nothing is impossible!", four hundred women of all ages participated in the race, honoring International Women's Day and observing a minute of silence for the victims of the unfortunate accident in Tembi.
