The Chios Health Athletes Association "Chiosrunning" in co-organization with the Municipality of Chios, the Regional Unit of Chios and the Karyes Cultural Association announces a trail running race and parallel sporting and cultural activities, called "Chios Hardstone Trail" for the routes of 5km, 12km, 23km and 41km which will take place on 27-28/4/2024, in the mountain village of Karyes of Chios.

Chios Hardstone Trail 5Km, the route retains all the characteristics of what we call trail running. With a length of 5km and a positive elevation gain of 227m, it is for everyone and is considered ideal for your introduction to the trail running. It is also an easy route that is purely recreational and educational. Its aim is to bring our young and old friends in contact with nature and to familiarize them with alternative forms of activities and sports. Also to highlight all those beneficial properties that the natural environment provides to man, but also to make known the tradition and history of the place to young and old alike.

The start and finish of each route is the base of the event at the Central Square of Karyes Village of Chios.

The Chios Health Athletes Association "Chiosrunning" has taken over the technical direction, taking care of the perfect signalling, the flow of the programme and the safe movement of the athletes.

Trophies will be awarded to the first three (3) men and the first three (3) women of the general classification of the Chios Hardstone Trail 5Km route.

Rules of Participation in the Chios Hardstone Trail 5Km

The participation fee is set as follows:

Chios Hardstone Trail 5Km: 10€.

In order to validate the participation, the corresponding amount must be deposited at the Bank via electronic payment using a debit or credit card.
The deposit, in order for the participation to be considered valid, must be made no later than Sunday 21 April 2024.
